Xavier learned early on that nothing worthwhile comes easy. His father became the first in his family of 13 to graduate from High School which impressed upon Xavier the importance of a great education. A Master Plumber by trade, Xavier’s father once showed him his calloused hands saying, “You will never have these by holding a scalpel in an operating room.”
Growing up, Xavier dedicated all of his time & attention on two of his passions in life, education and baseball. In High School, he graduated top of his class and began to focus his studies on a Pre-Med curriculum to pursue a career in Medicine. His love for baseball and God given talent allowed him to excel, blessing him with an opportunity to receive a Full Athletic Scholarship to RICE University, in his hometown of Houston, Texas, where he would continue to play baseball while attaining a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree in BioMedical Anthropology. At the end of his collegiate career, he was pursued by the Los Angeles Dodgers, while at the same time being accepted to several Medical Schools.
Xavier’s interest changed abruptly when he discovered his mother accepted an early retirement package from her long-time employer, only to find herself still working at the age of 70 to make ends meet. In 1995, Xavier chose to enter the investment world on a mission to help people avoid the financial mistake that his mother made because of a lack of honest advice and guidance. With an education primed for Medicine, he started all over at the bottom in the Wealth Management Industry for a small investment firm. Several years later he moved on to Houston’s largest private equity wealth management firm. The knowledge and experience he gained there developed a good foundation for him to move on and fulfill a ten year career at one of the world’s largest wealth management firms, Merrill Lynch.
In 2006, to protect him from the volatile financial markets and the relative economy, he began to diversify by getting involved in his first multi-level marketing company, where he experienced some modest success. In late 2008, he accepted an Investment Officer position for one of Texas’ largest and most successful banks, Frost, where he embraced a culture of Integrity, Caring and Excellence that had existed for over 140 years. However, with the financial markets crumbling, the automobile & real estate industry collapsing, and the overall economy in turmoil, CieAura became an answer to his prayers. Despite managing a $220 Million investment portfolio, it began apparent shortly after getting involved with CieAura that this is what he had been preparing for his entire life. Within 6 months, Xavier decided to walk away from a 15 year career in wealth management to devote 100% of his efforts to the pursuit of his family’s happiness by making CieAura a household name around the World and “Creating Total Balance...for Life”.
